Experience one of the last places on Earth where you can still find ancient cultures and endangered wildlife. In Southeast Asia, Myanmar is home to the most extraordinarily preserved locales to see exotic animals such as tigers, leopards, elephants, and rhinos. Whereas Thailand, India, and neighboring countries are quite exposed to tourism, Myanmar has kept its traditional lifestyle and unique way of living.

Over the course of one week, you and a friend will get the unique opportunity to travel together with renowned Swedish explorer Johan Ernst Nilson around this magical country. You will travel by hot air balloon, boat, car, and plane across some of the most majestic and untouched landscapes to visit the local tribes, see endangered animals, and visit holy temples.

One of the most incredible holy places you will visit is the Shwedagon Pagoda, which is decorated with gold as well as 5,448 diamonds and 2,317 rubies. If you’re not impressed yet, you should know that at the very top of the stupa sits a 76 carat pure diamond. The Shwedagon Pagoda is a true wonder, and this is just one of many fascinating places you will have the opportunity to visit on a truly unforgettable adventure!

“During my 25 years of traveling through 173 countries, Myanmar is one of the most interesting and unique places I've ever seen. It’s a truly remarkable and untouched country, not only for undertaking adventures, but to experience the holy temples, and to see endangered wildlife. Myanmar will change you. It’s a magical place that needs to be seen.”
