New York City-based painter Tyler Loftis has trained at the New York Studio School and the New York Academy of Art and studied extensively with iconic 20th century artists, putting him in direct connection with an unbroken line of European artists. Loftis' unique painting style emerged from his traditional training and his exposure to the visual artistry of old European masters. He paints slowly and deliberately, and his works are rooted in meticulous observation of how the subject matter interacts with the surrounding space.
The artist is the founder of All Art Works, a traveling curated show that showcases art by artists of all experience levels and works to bring art to the forefront of culture in art deserts throughout the United States. He also founded Portraits For Purpose, a charity art auction to raise awareness of modern painting and support charitable causes around the globe. Over $200,000 was raised for nine different charities at the inaugural event in 2018.
